With the generous support of our many donors and volunteers, MHAS has provided legal assistance to over 2,200 clients in 2018. Read about our programs here.This has been an extremely difficult year for us at MHAS because our long-time Executive Director Jim Preis passed away in October. Jim first came to MHAS as a USC law student in 1977, became the Executive Director in 1979, and devoted 39 years to MHAS' mission of protecting and advancing the legal rights of people with mental disabilities.Read more here.
