Coronavirus, Mental Health, Beautiful News, and Singing!

Dear Friends,

I hope you and your families are all hanging in there and remembering to take care of your mental health. I wanted to briefly update you on how Mental Health Advocacy Services is responding to the coronavirus crisis and ask for your help.

First, we had to make the difficult decision to close our office doors to the public as of this past Monday. Now, overnight, we have shifted to a completely remote operation. Our advocates and attorneys are working from home continuing and, in many cases, increasing their work to ensure that low-income individuals with mental health disabilities have access to safe living situations, medical care, benefits, and other resources they need to weather this crisis.
