On Tuesday, May 23, Friends In Deed co-sponsored with legal service agency Mental Health Advocacy Services, Inc. (MHAS) a free fair housing training to housing providers and social services professionals from around Los Angeles County. Nearly 90 folks gathered at First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, which hosted the event, to learn about how state and federal fair housing laws are designed to protect access to housing for the most vulnerable among us.
