Law student interns are an integral part of MHAS. A broad range of experience is available to interns, depending on their particular interests. MHAS assists clients in a wide variety of areas including: special education, juvenile dependency, Social Security and other government benefits, access to services, protection of individual rights, and landlord/tenant issues. Interns will work under the supervision of MHAS attorneys. MHAS is unable to pay student interns. Therefore we encourage students to seek PILF grants or other funding or to inquire at their schools about receiving course credit for internships.
